User Submitted Review - Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood Part 1 (Blu-Ray)
Anyone who was a fan of the first Fullmetal Alchemist series, or of the manga, has certainly been anticipating the release of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. That's probably a little unfortunate for the series, as that amount of hype is nearly impossible to live up to. Another unfortunate fact is that the first Blu-Ray only contains the first 13 episodes, meaning it doesn't get into any of the new content.
From an artistic and epic story-telling perspective, Saiyuki doesn’t really have any redeeming qualities. It’s a story about a bunch of hot guys riding around in a jeep (which can turn into a dragon when it feels like it) who are going into the west, maybe to save the world, mostly because they have nothing better to do. I absolutely adore it. When someone describes something as being “character driven”, they should use Saiyuki as the primary example.

Haha, hey! :) It's like I've seen you in other forums I thin...
